North Pole Post Office
At last the elves have revealed the location of the original Post Office of Santa Claus which can be found in a forested setting to the north of Rovaniemi above the Arctic Circle. This day visit will evoke memories of brass counters, sealing wax, Pigeonholes and Santa's original star navigation system for letter deliveries. Here in this original post office he continues to handle letters from allover the world with the assistance of his elves, and looks forward to welcoming you on. this auspicious occasion.
Your day begins with a flight from your local airport to Rovaniemi. Breakfast will be served during your outward flight and, where possible, aircraft equipped with video entertainment systems will be used. Following your arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, transportation will be provided to this secret location. To protect all members of the group from the cold, appropriate Arctic clothing, consisting of an all-in-one suit and boots has been organised. The elves have previously advised us that during December Santa may be seen regularly, close to his post office, supervising the handling of all his present requests, and that he will always spare time to meet with visitors to his Arctic homeland.
Here in this Arctic Wonderland a day full of excitement awaits you. There are rides with the huskies and Santa's very own reindeer, and of course you have the opportunity to try your hand at driving the Arctic snowmobiles at this venue, which are provided for both adults and children. Here too, in a traditional wooden restaurant, you will be able to enjoy lunch which is served continuously throughout the day. Whilst the food is simple in nature, consisting of items such as hot soups, baked potatoes with fillings etc., in this environment it is ideal. Desserts such as pancakes with jam taste superb in this setting.
Throughout your stay at this special location you may enjoy all the activities provided. When not availing of the skidoos there are opportunities to enjoy the simple pleasures of tobogganing and other snow based games, including a winter sleigh ride pulled by skidoo. Naturally there is the opportunity to visit with Santa, who will be happy to meet individual families during their stay, and of course he is sure to have gifts for all the children aged 2-11 inclusive. Whether you meet him in his post office, or in one of his Kotas on his private island, will be determined by the time of your visit.
During the day you may, of course, visit this original post office and even mail your Christmas cards should you so desire. Perhaps your visit will even coincide with the arrival of some of Santa's mail, or you may see his elves handling the post and dividing the letters into separate piles for the workers in the underground toy workshops.
As the evening hours approach it will soon be time to bid farewell to Santa Claus, departing with many happy memories of this very special day. During your homeward flight to the UK dinner will be served.
