Dream of Santa

After arrival at Rovaniemi’s own convenient airport, the children will love being greeted en route to the resort by a reindeer with its
Sami handler, and one of Santa’s elves. This gives you the perfect photo opportunity to start your break in true Lapland style!

Our comfortable coaches will whisk you off for the short 20-25 minute ride to your chosen hotel or Lapland cabin. On the way, we
will call in on our Arctic clothing partner to get you fitted out with your special complimentary thermal over-suits, boots, gloves
and hats, so you are ready for adventure!

Fun-time - a chance to explore Rovaniemi and get your bearings in this popular resort, or to head out into the snow to make snowmen
or try tobogganing, or maybe enjoy a relaxing swim or sauna.

For guests on our full-board option, a wonderful welcome dinner this evening sets the scene for tomorrow’s excitement!

We will pick you up for the ultimate Christmas adventure, with all the following activities available at some point during the day,
all of which are included in our prices.

Husky Sled Ride - these lovable dogs just love to run, and the sensation of gliding through this winter wonderland behind a team
of eager huskies is a highlight of the trip for many guests. Children ride sitting with a parent, whilst grown-ups can all take a turn at
actually ‘driving’ your own sled on this thrilling 20-minute adventure.

Reindeer Sleigh Ride - meet your reindeer and your Sami guide, learn the Lappish reindeer names, then set off through the snowclad
woods on a magical 7-10 minute ride, with the children cuddled under blankets on your knee.

Visit Santa’s ‘Lapland Control Centre’, to see how Santa keeps track of all his letters from around the world, and stays in touch
with all his elves and helpers, busily getting ready for Christmas.

Warm up with a fun lesson at the Elf School, learning about the elves and their ways, and maybe a little also about all the shy but
friendly Lapland animals you may meet out and about in the woods!

Lunch is also included of course - a simple, hot 2-course meal with separate options for children, and plenty of hot berry juice,
squash, tea and coffee available too.

The highlight of the day is setting off by snowmobile-sled on your family’s own Search for Santa! Tucked away in the woods you will
find his little log-cabin home, and meet Santa Claus himself in an exclusive, private family meeting, with his helpers on hand
to ensure there is magic in the air!

A super range of other snow and ice activities is available for you all to enjoy, including tobogganing, ice-fishing, kick-sledding
(a Lapland speciality cross between a scooter and a toboggan!), tandem skiing, mini-skidoo rides for children, and the local skill
of reindeer-lassooing.

Refreshments are included too and are available indoors all day, for those times when a few minutes warming up by a log fire is needed before the next adventure! There may even be the chance for children to bake your own gingerbread man, to eat or to save, as you choose!

Finally, it’s back ‘home’ to your cosy cabin or welcoming hotel, and if you have booked our great value full-board option, on to our
Lapland Dinner Show, to round off your break in style!

Fun-time again, with the chance to thrill to one of our wide range of exciting Optional Adventures, such as a snowmobile safari, skiing, tobogganing or snowshoeing.

Alternatively, you may wish to use this morning to do a little Christmas shopping in Rovaniemi’s attractive range of clothes, craft and gift shops, and take a taste of Lapland home with you.
