Santas Lapland

There isn't a smile in the world to beat your child's delight at meeting the 'real' Santa Claus!

But that's not the only reason to enjoy a Christmas break in Lapland, crossing the Arctic Circle into the land of the magical Northern Lights.

The whole family will love our reindeer sleigh-rides, the excitement of husky-sledding and snowmobiling, and the glittering charm of this winter wonderland. Choose from our cosy, fully catered log-cabin chalets, complete with crackling log fire, decorations and a Christmas tree in the lounge, or one of our fine 4-star hotels, with a wonderful range of facilities.

The snow lies deep and crisp, reflecting the shimmering Northern Lights. Anything seems possible, and childhood's dreams become reality.

Meeting Santa Claus in his own Lapland home is every child's dream. He has kindly offered to take a break from his busy December preparations to spend a few minutes with each family in his hideaway log-cabin home - a secret place, which his cheeky elves and friendly helpers will help you find!

There are plenty of adventures to enjoy along the way to finally meeting Santa Claus, from snow sculptures at the Igloo Village's fabulous ice hotel to tobogganing, reindeer sleigh-rides and husky-sledding! You'll meet the friendly local Sami people too, and enjoy sumptuous Lapp cuisine, with tasty local game and the freshest salmon, plus further options of course for younger and simpler tastes.
