Your Supervised Snow Fun is just a part of your Polar Magic short break with Transun. But there is so much more included. From a Snowmobile Adventure to your search for Santa, from a husky dog sledge experience to a wonderful Festive Dinner, your four-night break is filled with wonderful, magical experiences. Here is a typical itinerary.
Day One
Collect your special boarding pass at your check-in in the UK and keep it safe! Your flight departs around 10am and at Enontekio you are guided to your coach. The journey to Hetta takes around ten to 15 minutes. Temperatures here can fall to -35C in December and we stop to collect your all-in-one thermal suits and boots, an essential part of your holiday package. Hats, scarves and gloves are also necessary, so remember to pack some for everyone!
After checking in at your chosen accommodation, your Transun rep hosts a welcome meeting, giving you all the information needed to get the most from your break and during a welcome dinner your rep will answer any further questions. Tonight, you can join one of our optional activities, such as a snowmobile night safari, hoping to encounter the Northern Lights.
Day Two
After breakfast, you board the coach to head off on your first included Santa safari - either a thrilling 40-minute Husky Experience or an exhilarating 1.5 hour Snowmobile Adventure, followed by a warming lunch. Throughout the day you can enjoy snow activities outside, with toboggans available free of charge and kick sledges available upon payment of a deposit. Or, if you prefer, there's plenty of family fun to be had making snowmen or enjoying a good old-fashioned snowball fight! Alternatively, you might opt to join the inside craft activities, or maybe try one of our exciting optional excursions, such as a trying your hand at Reindeer Herding. After dinner at your hotel, you can just relax, or join one of our optional night safaris.
Day Three

ou'll board the coach for your second Santa safari after breakfast, either a 40-minute Husky Experience or a 1.5-hour Snowmobile Adventure. As before, there are snow activities to be enjoyed, or you could choose to stay inside and take part in craft activities. This evening, join us on a walk to the local church. After a short welcome by the local vicar and carol singing, you return to your accommodation for dinner. Then relax, or join one of our optional night safaris.
Day Four
After breakfast, you board the coach once more, this time for your special Supervised Snow Fun. This is a day of supervised activities that include a Snowshoe Trek, Snowball Throwing Contest, Tandem Skis and Children's Skis, Snowman Building, Tug-of-War, Snow Hockey, and lots more! In addition, there will be a supervised kids' snowmobile ride. A hot lunch will be provided. Then, the highlight of the day. With your special boarding pass, you set off by snowmobile, before you join Santa's own reindeer sleigh in search of Father Christmas. During a private family meeting in his log cabin, each child has the chance to talk with Santa and receives a small gift. Later, enjoy a Festive Dinner at your hotel, with party hats and streamers. After dinner, why not join us on an optional Northern Lights husky safari?
Day Five
Check out after breakfast. Then you board the coach and head off on one final adventure, a Wilderness Treasure Hunt! Alternatively, you have time for one last play in the snow or to join another of our optional excursions. After a hot lunch, we depart for Enontekio and our flight home.

Quality family time together is an important part of your short break in Lapland, and our Supervised Snow Fun is a wonderful opportunity to try a little team work! All that healthy exercise takes place amid the clean, clean air of Europe's last unspoiled wilderness, so it's good for you too! The range of activities includdes a children's snowmobile track so that youngsters can sample the thrill of steering their own snowmobile, a snowball throwing contest, tug-of-war, snow hockey, a trek on snowshoes (like walking around with tennis racquets on your feet!) and tandem skis (two people on one pair of skis ... the results can be hilarious!). And as if that's not enough, all this fun takes place on the day you set off in search of Father Christmas. What a day of family memories!
