Itinerary
All the joys of a trip to True Lapland... and you will still be home for supper
Imagine waking up on a grey winter's morning and, before you know it, flying off to the pristine white snowscapes of Lapland. You and your family will find yourselves amid all the activity of Santa's homeland in its preparation for the festive season. You'll come face to face with Santa's reindeer, you'll glimpse one or two of his elves in their green clothes, and, of course, your family with have a private visit to Santa's log cabin, where your children will meet Father Christmas himself, in a magical Lapland setting that will stay with you forever. You'll have the time of your lives! We've been running day trips to visit Santa in Lapland for over twenty years, so we know a thing or two about how to put together the most spectacular day you could ever imagine. You'll be back home in time for bed and the next day you just might wake and wonder if it was all a glorious dream!
We fly to Enontekio airport, from where this magical day break takes you deep within the Arctic landscapes. Our all-inclusive price includes the protective warmth of a thermal suit and boots (essential in a region where the average December temperatures range between -7C and -35C) but please ensure that you bring additional scarves, hats and gloves.
You can take your pick from a wide range of activities. Enjoy a sled journey, being drawn by an eager team of huskies and an altogether calmer reindeer sleigh trip. The day break also includes a snowmobile trip when adults with a full UK driving licence have the opportunity to drive through the silent snowscapes (children pulled in a sleigh behind guide).
As well as all the activities detailed above, there will be time to play in the snow, giving children (and their parents too!) the chance to enjoy tobogganing, snowman-making and snowball fights. A warming two-course lunch is included in the price of your day break.
The highlight of the day arrives when we venture into the snow-clad surroundings in the hope of finding the hidden log cabin where Santa sometimes stays at this time of the year. After a magical journey through the silent forest, each family will enjoy a private visit with Santa, who will find the time to talk to each child about their Christmas wishes.
PLEASE NOTE: For operational reasons, itineraries may vary.
